Dr. Jungjae Lim
Jungjae Lim, MD, of Modern Pain Solutions in Granada Hills, California, is double ABMS board-certified in pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Lim attended the University of California, San Diego in San Diego, California, graduating with an economics degree in 2005. He completed a post-baccalaureate program at California State University, San Francisco in San Francisco, California, and then enrolled in the prestigious Keith B. Taylor Global Scholars Program run by the St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada.
He trained in Newcastle, England, and New York City, before graduating in 2016. Dr. Lim’s passion for the musculoskeletal system and fascination with how dysfunction causes pain and impairment inspired Dr. Lim to complete his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University. During his time there, he honed his skills in spinal, musculoskeletal, and rehabilitation medicine. Dr. Lim went on to complete an ACGME accredited fellowship in Pain Medicine with the Department of Anesthesia at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Dr. Lim has received extensive training and has considerable experience using advanced interventional pain management procedures to treat complex pain syndromes. He’s had papers accepted by leading clinical publications like the Journal of Spinal Cord Medicine and has given numerous professional presentations. Dr. Lim is passionate about delivering the best possible patient care with a modern approach. He uses his extensive training, skills, and experience to fully evaluate the patient and provide them with the most effective therapies. He treats every patient like a family member and has excellent communication skills that put people at ease. He’s delighted to be back where he grew up in Los Angeles so he can serve the local community.
